Board Certified Workers' Compensation Attorney
Jane-Robin Wender, Esquire has been representing injured workers in South Florida since 1992. First Board Certified in Workers' Compensation in 1999, she is triple Board Certified by way of renewal granted in both 2004 and 2009. Since 2008, Ms. Wender has been a member of the 8 person state wide Florida Bar Worker's Compensation Committee. This small committe reviews applicants for Board Certification, writes and grades the annual Board Certification exam. Ms. Wender has also served on the Palm Beach County Bar Association Workers' Compensation Committee since 1995 and has held the role of chairperson of this committee since 2007. The Palm Beach County Workers' Compensation Committee meets several times a year with the Judges of Compensation Claims to clarify and recommend new rules of procedure for the jurisdiction. As Chairperson, Ms. Wender is also assigned the duties of preparing and arranging the seminar for the annual Palm Beach County Bar Association Bench/Bar Conference. In addition to being a member of FAWL, the ABA and the Florida Justice Association, Ms. Wender regularly tries cases before the judges of compensation claims. Ms. Wender has lectured for the Florida Bar around the state and was invited in 2009 to be the only guest speaker at the annual Office of Judges of Compensation Claims (OJCC) where she lectured on compensability in EAO and Leasing Cases exclusively before the 35 Judges of Compensation Claims. She regularly testifies as an expert witness before the judges on behalf of both injured workers and Carriers and has had her own firm, Jane-Robin Wender, P.A., since 1999. Prior to going off on her own, Ms. Wender had the disctinction of becoming a named partner in the firm of Williams & Wender, P.A. prior to her 29th birthday. Having tried hundreds of cases, her practice is now limited to prosecution of workers' compensation claims on behalf of injured workers.
